Hortense B. Perry Foundation In Partnership with
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Eta Omega Chapter

The Hortense B. Perry Foundation is offering financial assistance to deserving local female high school graduates who plan to enter college in the Fall of 2026. Students must reside in the Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan area. The Foundation has two scholarship award categories. You may only apply for one category.

 

1. Check the scholarship award group that you are requesting.

2. If you apply for an HBCU scholarship, are selected, and then do not attend an HBCU, the scholarship will not be awarded.

 

Each application is reviewed by a committee and receives a weighted score based on your answers. Remember to give us the best impression of you. All application information is to be typed into this form, printed and signed. Only electronic applications are accepted.

NOTE:  Application must be completed and all attachments uploaded prior to pressing the SUBMIT button.  You will not be able to make changes once submitted.

2 letters of recommendation (one must be from a teacher in your school).


Write a personal narrative that gives the scholarship committee a sense of you as an individ ual (250 word maximum). This personal story is to be typed.
